Equipped with the intelligent Magforce braking system, the IM Z offers a whole new experience when connecting with your fishing gear. You can access the casting data of the IM Z through the Daiwa Connecting system, which is downloaded to your smartphones. You can also upload new brake profiles to your IM Z via the system. The blue light is on when set to standard brake mode and changes color when set to different brake modes. Yellow: PE Braid Mode, Purple: Long Throw Mode, Light Green: Max Brake Mode.

With rechargeable battery, USB-C cable connected, 90min fully charged, enough for about 700 throws. After the battery is empty, it will work with maximum braking power. Daiwa Connecting system is available on Daiwa App (App Store, Google Play).

The territory is limited to Japan and you need to change the country of your Apple ID to Japan to download it, or you need to create a new Apple ID and then change the territory to Japan later. After downloading, please change the ID back to your original one. User manual, Daiwa app and connection system are only available in Japanese language. Note, Daiwa limits its 1-year warranty to reels used only in Japan.

The base of the IM Z is a relatively large 200 size caster, with 38mm spool diameter. It is equipped with a 7kg drag. Hyper Drive Design System provides smooth gear and frictionless performance for longer life.
