Highly effective deep crankbait for big fish – the Magnum EX-DR from OSP

To specifically target big perch in water depths of over 8 metres, OSP developed the Magnum EX-DR – an extra-deep crankbait that sets new standards. Particular attention was paid to making the lure’s silhouette and action as realistic as possible, closely imitating natural baitfish.

The Magnum EX-DR easily reaches depths of up to 8 metres and extends its working range to an impressive 9 to 10 metres. This opens up areas for anglers where there is significantly less fishing pressure. However, casting distance is crucial for the lure’s effectiveness. Even the best deep diver cannot reach its full potential if the casting range is insufficient. The Magnum EX-DR excels here with optimised casting performance, giving anglers access to depths that were previously difficult to reach.

Another outstanding feature of the Magnum EX-DR is its natural swimming action. With a quick start-up, responsive behaviour and low rolling resistance in the water, it closely mimics the movement of a live baitfish. These characteristics make it a highly versatile tool – even in shallower water. In reservoirs with complex shorelines, the lure can already be used effectively at depths of 5 to 6 metres. This is made possible by its fast diving behaviour at casting distances of around 20 metres.
