Smith Ltd. headquartered in Tokyo has been producing artificial lures, rods and accessories for over 40 years. They have a very extensive range of trout salmonid plugs, which are also very good for hunting perch (Egli) and other predatory fish. We have been fishing these plugs for a long time and they have proved to be very catching, both in running waters and in mountain lakes, especially on char and Namaycuhs. The special feature of these lures are the built-in tungsten weights, which make them heavier than normal sinking plugs. This allows them to reach deep standing fish better, which is very important for hunting trout in rivers and streams, especially in spring.
