The Daiwa RYOGA is one of the most advanced round-profile baitcasting reels for high loads (e.g., cranking with medium to heavy lures). Its massively precise body is engineered for stability and durability—ensuring confident handling even under pressure.

HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR + ultra-rigid, high-precision housing

A RYOGA hallmark: a machine-cut, high-rigidity housing combined with HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR.
The result is an almost wobble-free rotation and a silky yet powerful retrieve with high efficiency and extended gear life (compared to the previous generation).

RYOGA 100 – SV concept (SV BOOST)

• - Stable lure flight, even with high-drag lures
• - Reduces line float and ensures a clean, controlled trajectory
• - Noticeably lighter, smoother casting—especially in the second phase of the cast, without “power casting”
• - Casting weights: very versatile (approx. 3.5 g to 1 oz, depending on setup)

RYOGA 150 – LC concept (MAG‑Z BOOST)

• - Optimized for medium to heavy lures
• - Precisely suppresses excess spool rotation in the early cast phase
• - Stabilizes the lure and enables long casts, even in wind

The gear ratio is calibrated so the RYOGA can fully deliver its strengths: pressure, control, and direct contact on the retrieve.
