With the Daiwa 25 ALPHAS BF TW, Daiwa brings cutting-edge bait finesse technology to the legendary ALPHAS series. Thanks to the new SS MAGFORCE™ braking system, this baitcasting reel delivers outstanding casting distance, ultra-smooth spool rotation, and an exceptionally compact design - perfect for precise and controlled finesse fishing.

The newly developed φ30 mm G1 Duralumin spool was specifically designed for the SS MAGFORCE™ system. Despite the larger diameter, the spool assembly remains nearly as light as the previous 28 mm AIR spool.
By fundamentally redesigning the inductor rotor, Daiwa has achieved improved control, greater stability, and enhanced casting performance — even when using ultra-light lures.

SS MAGFORCE™ – Simple & Swift

The SS MAGFORCE™ braking system was purpose-built for bait finesse fishing and offers:

Maintenance-Friendly Design

The oil port cap allows easy lubrication of the pinion bearing.
For maintenance, always use the included special tool to remove the cap and ensure proper spool tension adjustment before use (refer to the instruction manual).
