The Steez SV Light TW 100 is DAIWA’s tuned, high-end STEEZ-series baitcaster with a shallow spool. Built around the UltimateCasting Design, it combines the latest Magforce braking, a 32 mm SV BOOST spool, the new TWS line guide system, and Zero Adjust.

The new 32 mm platform reduces rotational inertia by approximately 15% compared with the previous 34 mm generation—delivering easier start-up, better control, and longer casting distance. The new TWS also provides about 16% more line passage area during the cast, while being slimmer overall, for an even cleaner, smoother line release.

Important: The new Zero Adjust is factory-set correctly—please do not adjust it.

Gear Ratio Options

This series comes in two gear ratios:

• - 7.8:1 – a true all-rounder, ideal for versatile techniques (casting & retrieving)
• - 9.2:1 – the fastest option in the lineup, 92 cm line retrieve per handle turn: perfect for quickly picking up slack and steering fish out of cover fast

SV BOOST + TWS – Casting Performance

The SV BOOST System is a tuned SV (Air Brake) concept where the inductor works in two stages:

• - Maximum control at the start of the cast (backlash protection)
• - Reduced braking in the second half of the cast for more distance and a freer spool run-out
• - The conical TWS line guide further supports this, especially in the second casting phase.
