The Corto Prototype, which has always been a driving force in the UL fishing scene, has been further beefed up. The evolution continues with the adoption of the original carbon reel seat "OP-01", and despite the compromise between "operative" and "reactive" sensitivity, the highly sensitive characteristics of both have been refined in a higher dimension. The blank with a slightly less springy feel improves the angler's sense of control and reduces the load on the light line, allowing the angler to use lighter mounts.

TORAYCA ®T1100G and TORAYCA ®M40X, Toray's most advanced high modulus carbon fiber material, is used as the main material from tip to handle end to maximize the reverberation sensitivity unique to rods.

Used is OLYMPIC's highly tapered blank-through technology. This allows for reduced weight without sacrificing impact force, and the sensitivity that penetrates to the end of the handle is also achieved!

In the case of the material of the new family "Torayca", by orienting the graphite crystal structure using the nanotechnology "Nanoalloy", a 30 percent higher tensile strength was achieved with approximately the same tensile modulus as conventional carbon fibers.
